— send me the thing you cannot stop thinking about.
The Read
The offer that should be selling more.
The page you have rewritten twelve times.
The content people love but apparently refuse to buy from.
The business thing making you wonder, “Am I missing something incredibly obvious?”
Send me one thing that is not doing what you need it to do. I’ll look at it, tell you what I actually see, and give you the move I would make next.
$99. No call required.
You’re not hiring me to tell you whether I like it.
You’re hiring me to notice what you cannot see anymore because you have been sitting three inches away from the business trying to make it work.
Okay, look at mineYou need someone to look at what is happening and say: “There. That’s where I’d start.”
You may think the problem is your copy, your price, your content or your audience. Maybe. Or maybe something upstream is making all of those things harder. I am looking for that.
I am not sending you a polite little checklist of best practices. I am telling you what I notice, what I think is getting in the way, what I would leave alone and what I would change.
You should not finish The Read with fourteen new tabs open and a fresh identity crisis. The goal is for you to know where I would put my attention next and why.
Because there is a point where thinking about the same problem longer does not make you smarter. It just makes Tuesday become Friday. Hand it over.
One Read = one focused thing.
You give me enough context to understand what it is supposed to be doing.
Then I go looking.
Complete the intake, send the link or file and tell me what is happening. You do not need to diagnose it first. That part is kind of the point.
I look at what you sent me, what you are trying to accomplish and what your buyer is actually being asked to understand, believe or do. Then I follow what feels off until I find the part I think matters.
Within 3–5 business days, I send you a private audio recording with my full Read plus written notes you can keep. Listen once. Listen four times while walking around Target. Forward the notes to whoever needs them. Then make the move.
Hi. That is literally what this is.
You send it. I look. You get my brain on it.
What if I do not know what the problem is?
Perfect. Tell me what you expected to happen, what is actually happening and send me the thing. You do not have to arrive with your own diagnosis before purchasing a diagnostic.
What counts as one thing?
One landing page, sales page, homepage, social profile, offer description, document or focused email sequence. If you are trying to hand me your entire business in a trench coat and call it one asset, I will tell you.
Can I send something that is not live yet?
Yes. Google Docs, PDFs, screenshots and unpublished pages are all fair game. Sometimes having me look before you send it into the world is the better move.
Are you going to rewrite it for me?
No. I may give you examples or tell you how I would approach something, but The Read is about identifying what I believe needs attention and why. If you know what needs to change, implementation gets a whole lot easier.
What if you notice something I did not ask about?
You are going to hear about it. I am not going to stare directly at the actual problem and politely answer the smaller question sitting next to it.
Can I ask follow-up questions?
The Read itself is asynchronous. If what I uncover needs an actual conversation, I will tell you that. But a surprising number of these do not. Sometimes you just needed someone to finally name the damn thing.
Is what I send you private?
Yes. Your work stays private unless you explicitly give me permission to share it.
What have you been staring at for way too long?
Send me the page. Send me the offer. Send me the thing that is getting attention and not converting. Send me the business problem currently taking up an unreasonable amount of space in your brain.
You send the thing. I tell you what I see. You finally have somewhere useful to move next.
You can keep staring at it.
Or you can let me look.
